I spend some time on working with tomatocart and wanted to share my opinion with you guys! I must say for a alpha5 version it looks quite nice! Good job
When I was working with tomatocart I noticed some things that raised questions, I know this is only an alpha release but reporting it never does harm.
Question
- Is it possible to place the boxes where you want in the sidebar (left/right) (frontend) ? Like putting 'shop by price' in the left toolbar?
- When you are in the admin menu for managing currencies you aren't able to set a default one in the grid. You have to open the currency and check 'by default' maybe it is better to have it directly in the grid?
- When you order a product you need to set an quantity. When you need to sell virtual products it is sometimes not needed to give a quantity. Is it possible to disabled the quantity and make it standard 1 ?
- I can see that there is a suburb field in the shipping address form, is it possible to disable this?
- When you have virtual products shipping isn't needed. Is there a way to disable the shipping module? I only can see an option free shipping in shipping modules
- When you want to edit the popular search terms it would be handy to have check boxes in the grid to bulk remove popular search terms
- How does the product updates via email work (you can check this when you ordered successfully). How can I send the product updates?
- Is it possible to make the qty of products optional? With virtual products you don't have qty...
