Won't it be useful to have the 2 more following products type:

- grouped products: it is a packaged offer composed with simple products. In that case, we could print a price for a group of products which is better than if each products were bought separately

- composed or bundled products (the same as in magento): it is a product which is composed of other products. In that case, the customer can compose himself the product to buy. For example, imagine i sell pieces of furniture (tables, chairs...) and I want to create a new product "saloon" (table + chairs). By creating it as bundled, the customer can select the tables and chairs published as a part of this bundle product (combo box, drop down list or other configurable in the backoffice) with the quantities wanted and then the price will be the sum of all elements.

Hope it's clear. It's in fact the same as grouped and bundled products as in Magento.

I think this is a very good idea!

Is it possible to add one or many pdf file(s) to a product? It can be very useful (and it will be my needs) to add technical papers, for example, to a technological product like electronics (switches, firewall, Telephones...).

Perhaps it can be done by adding a new tab on the product window (as for images) in back office.

I would like and I need this integration of product documents also. When I worked with oscommerce there is contrib called DOCUMENT MANAGER which was work perfectly and just for my needings.

also, please, if somebody have some instructions how to improve oscommerce contribs to tomatocart I will try to make some contribution for tomatocart...

We are implementing an attachments mangement module and a new rating system and we will update the svn in the next couple of days.
