TomatoCart - New Generation Open Source eCommerce

There is a script to upgrade from alpha 3 to alpha 4, because i have 200 products with 2-3-4 variants , for each. Alpha 4 is quite a pice of work and i want to try, but entering products again is make me stay off...a tutorial for upgrading will be highly apreciated

In our plan the upgrade tool will be provided only after the stable release is launched. Considering your problem we will provide you the solution to import products to alpha4.

We have create an database upgrade script for you to update your existing 1.0a3 to 1.0a4. In this script new tables and some new configuration setting are included. We did not update the default template to the newest TomatoCart glassy metal template, in case you have already created your own template.

Please following the steps to do the update:

1. Backup your database and files.
2. Upload TomatoCart 1.0a4 and overwrite 1.0a3.
3. Execute the attached update sql script to upgrade your database.
