TomatoCart v1.0 Alpha 1 Released

Sunday, 28 June 2009 20:54 After five months' development, we are proud to present the shopping cart solution TomatoCart v1.0 alpha1. TomatoCart is branched from osCommerce 3 and we completely rewrite osCommerce 3 administration panel with Rich Internet Applications framework ExtJS .

We implement the web desktop for the administration panel. Web desktop application mimics the user experience of desktop Operating System, offering features and applications similar to a PC environment. Thus store owners can easily start to work with TomatoCart without any difficulty, which we are very excited about. In a word, AJAX and ExtJS offer great usability improvement and excellent user experience.

This alpha release is for public demonstration and testing to help with fixation and further development. Therefore it is not recommended for production use. If you find any bug or have suggestions of this release, please create a new thread in our community support forums.
