The Product Variants section offers an additional method for store owners to manage products, for example, computers are sold in different colors and suppliers. Both Colour and Supplier are considered as variants of computers.
Figure 1 shows the Product Variants listing page under the admin>Catalog >Product Variants section.

The product variants must be set up individually for each product. They are a great way to offer multiple options to a customer without needing to create many separate but similar products to choose from. There are also many contributions available that make entry of product variants in different ways, especially when there are many variants to add to different products.
Figure 2 shows the New Variant Group listing page under the admin>Catalog>Product Variants>New Variant Groups add section.

Figure 3 shows the Supplier listing page under the admin> Catalog>Product Variants>Supplier add section.

After a variant has been set up as described above, it can be added to products, if needed.
Figure 4 shows the Variants tab of 17" MACBOOK PRO MB166LL/A in the Products section and Figure 5 shows variants with this product in the store front.
