Products Expected

Introduction

The Products Expected section is a listing of any products that you have given an expected date to in the store under admin>Catalog>Products.

Products Expected

Figure 1 shows the Products Expected listing page under the admin> Catalog > Products Expected section.

Each time a product is set available on a date later than “Today” in the Data tab under the Catalog >Products section, it is added to the store database and listed in this section.

The products expected can be edited in this section instead of going into each product under Catalog>Products.

  • Edit products expected
Figure 2 shows the Apple iPod touch 8 GB listing page under the admin> Catalog> Products Expected> Apple iPod touch 8 GB edit section.

To edit products expected, click the "date graphic tool" in figure 2 to select a new date which should be a coming date after today. If the date is set as today or before, the entry of the products expected will disappear.

When a product has an expected date on it that product can be seen in the store called "Upcoming Products" and has the date to the right, once the Upcoming Products module has been installed under Templates.

  • Refresh the present page
  • See Products Expected Number in the down-right corner
  • Hide/Display a column
