Overview

Orders

Introduction

Orders received from the online store are shown in full details in this section. Here you can also manage them by printing, editing, deleting and creating invoices. Besides, new orders can be added without operating in the front store.

Orders

Figure 1 shows the Orders listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders section.

All orders the store received are listed here. For each order you can see the sort order in time sequence, the customer’s name, Order Total, Date purchased,Tracking No.( editable only when the order entry is folded.) and Status. Click "+" to view the concrete information for each order, which contains the shipping&billing address, shipping&payment method, product information and the cost.
Note:
If an order is paid in store credit, its “Order Total” will only display cost excluding the store credit.
  • Print an Order
    Orders can be printed in PDF format by clicking the “Print Order graphic tool ”.
  • Create an Invoice
    Click the "Create Invoice graphic tool" in each order's row to create an invoice. Every order can have the invoice created once only. Once the invoice is created, the "Create Invoice graphic tool" will be disabled and become grey. And the order with an invoice created will have an icon of "Invoice" before the column of "ID" as Figure 1 shows. The created invoice corresponds to the admin>Customers>Invoice.
  • View an Order
    Figure 2 shows the Orders View Summary listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders>View>Summary section.

    Summary tab includes customer’s information and the general information about the order as in Figure 2.
    At the bottom page, you can see the customer comment and admin comment, the content of the former one is added in the Checkout page by the customer and it is not editable. In the admin comment field, you can input anything you want and that will not be seen by customers. When done, click Update to save the action.

    Figure 3 shows the Orders View Products listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders>View>Products section.

    The Products tab lists all the products in this order with detailed information, including SKU, tax, if any, and the unit cost and total cost.
    The column of Qty to Refund shows the number of the products refunded successfully for various reasons and it corresponds with the Refund History tab.

    The Transaction History tab lists the added date, status and comments to a transaction.

    Figure 4 shows the Orders View Status History listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders>View>Status History section.

    In Status History tab, the store owner can change the status of an order, type a new comment, and notify the customer of the status change, with comments or not. When done, click Update to save the action.

    Figure 5 shows the Orders View Refund History listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders>View>Refund History section.

    The Refund History tab lists the concrete information of products refunded successfully. It corresponds with the Qty to Refund in the Products tab.

    Figure 6 shows the Orders Merchandise Returns listing page under the admin>Customers>Orders>View>Merchandise Returns section.

    The Merchandise Returns tab lists all the products of which the customer has applied for returns. To manage return requests go to admin>Customers>Return Request.
  • Add/Edit an order
    Click the Add button in the toolbar as Figure 1 shows, and a window pops up as Figure 7 shows.

    A customer should be chosen from your existing customers in the first place by clicking the “add graphic tool” as Figure 7 shows. Then an order adding page pops up as Figure 8 shows, which includes two tabs: Address and Status History (it is the same as that in the Viewing page).

  1. Customer Information
    Customer Name and Email Address are listed in the Customer Information corresponded the customer you choose at first, and they are not editable here. Currencies can be reselected from the combo box. After changing the currency, the page will be refreshed.

  2. Billing/ Shipping Address
    You can either select an existing address from the pull down list or create a new address. When done, click Update to refresh the page.

  3. Payment Method
    There is a little different from that in the frontend. It is only allowed to choose a payment method simply without details, such as, Card No. in case of Credit Card payment. If the customer has store credits, the Pay with Store Credit checkbox can be checked. In other words, the order can be paid with store credits.

  4. Shipping Method
    Click Change Shipping Method to view the installed shipping methods, as Figure 9 shows.

    Click the “add graphic tool” in a certain row to choose a shipping method for the order.

  5. Redeem Coupon
    As the name suggests, if the customer has a coupon it can be redeemed by inputting the coupon code. It can be removed after redeemed as well, as Figure10 shows.

  6. Redeem Gift Certificates

    The redemption process is the same as Redeem Coupon above.

  7. Products
    Click the “add graphic tool” to add products. The product listing page as shown in Figure 11, contains all kinds of products.

    Input the product quantity the order will be placed.
    Click “add graphic tool”, and then the added product will appear in the Product section as shown in Figure 12.

    Model, Qty (except for gift certificates) and Price (Net) are editable as Figure 7 shows. Click one of them to edit the value.

  8. Order Totals
    After finishing the product addition, the Order Totals can be seen at the bottom of the page, as Figure13 shows.

  • Delete an order
    There will be a verification enquiry window as Figure 14 shows.

    Check the box in Figure 14 and then click "Delete", the products in this order will automatically adjust the inventory, otherwise they will not.
  • Search for an order
  • Hide/Display columns
  • Refresh the present page
  • Turn pages and customize display number of each page
