TomatoCart Support Administration Tool Modules Payment Modules

Overview

Payment Modules

Introduction

The Payment Modules section gives store owners a way to interface with several established companies for credit card processing, as well as a few methods that simplify store information on the local server for off-line processing. There are also modules available for handling cash, money order, and check payments, which do not get any external merchant involved.

In addition to the default modules installed in TomatoCart, there are others available under the Downloads>Extensions for other merchant vendors.

The payment modules come with many modules built into the code. If other payment modules are placed in the code, they will need to be installed in the same manner as the ones listed above before use.

You may:

  • Install/Uninstall modules
  • Edit modules
A module can only have its settings edited after it has been installed. Editing fields differ in different modules. Explanations of each field setting are found in the editing page of each module. Figure 2 shows the Authorize.net Credit Card listing page under the admin>Modules>Payment Modules>Authorize.net Credit Card edit section.
