Introduction

Drop-down Menu on Categories is a dynamic effect to display sub-categories laterally when mouse hovers over, somewhat so as to improve user experience.

Pop-up Category Menu

Figure 1 shows the Drop-down Menu on Categories.

Slide the mouse over one category, and then all the sub-categories, if any, will pop up on the right.

This dynamic menu is configurable under the admin>Templates>Templates Modules>Categories section.

• Show Product Count
  Set to True, product amount in each category will be shown.
• Display Drop Down Menu
  Set to True to implement this pop-up dynamic effect. Or you have to click the parent category to have its sub-categories listed right below the mother category, as in TomatoCart versions earlier than v1.1.
• Drop Down Menu Effect
  There are three effects for choosing: fade, slide, slide & fade.
• Drop Down Menu Duration
  Set an appropriate value giving a slick and comfortable experience to customers.
