Introduction

The Article Categories section displays all the categories that articles have been sorted into.

Figure 1 shows the Article Categories listing page under the admin> Content > Article Categories section.

• Edit/Add article categories
  Figure 2 shows the Latest News listing page under the admin> Content> Article Categories> Latest News edit section.

1. Input the name for the article category in each installed language.
2. Change the status of the article category in the front-end.
3. Input the sort order.
4. Select "Save" to implement the action.

• Delete article categories
  Note: If the category (ies) has(ve) contained one or more articles, click "Yes" and then the Error window will present itself cuing "Error: there was a problem performing the action.Error: This category contains * articles, therefore it can not be deleted. "If you really would like to remove the article category(ies),click "OK" to close the current Error window and then delete all the articles in the target category(ies) under the admin>Content> Articles section. As for the category (ies) containing no articles, there will be no Error window and it(they) could be deleted smoothly.
