Return Requests

Introduction

The Return Requests section lists information of goods which has been asked for return by customers.

Figure 1 shows the Return Requests listing page under the admin>Customers>Return Requests section.

For each return request you can see the Return ID, Order ID, Customers, Qty, Date Added, Status and Comments. Click "+" to view the concrete information of each return request, which may contain more information, such as billing address, product and the comments mainly about the reasons of giving back.

  • Edit a return request

Figure 2 shows the 3: Cynthia Lee listing page under the admin>Customers>3: Cynthia Lee edit section.

  1. Products/Customers/Date/Customer Comment
    In the request editing page, you'll see which goods are asked for return, by whom, when and why. These are read only by store owners.
  2. Status
    Store owners may acknowledge the return or not.
  3. Comment
  • Create Credit Slip/Store Credit

Figure 3 and Figure 4 show the Create Credit Slip and Create Store Credit listing page under the admin>Customers>Return Requests>Create Credit Slip/Store Credit editsection.

In TomatoCart, there are two modules set for different returning methods of refund - Invoices and Return Request. Here when return requests are applied for in the online store owners can finish the refund immediately either in Credit Slip or Store Credit. (The Invoices section is referential); When return request are applied for by telephone, emails etc, you should go to the Invoices section.
Note: You may create either Credit Slip or Store Credit. Once Credit Slip or Store Credit has been created, the request becomes neither editable nor creatable, as Return ID 1 in Figure 1 shows.
  • Refresh the present page
  • Hide/Display columns
  • Search a Return Request, according to the Order ID, Customer ID or Product Status
  • See Return Requests Number in the down-right corner
