Introduction
The system has only one language, English, set by default. You can upload and manage your language in the Languages section.
Languages
Figure 1 shows the Languages listing page under the admin>Definitions>Languages section.

Figure 2 shows the

- Click Browse to upload a zipped language package from your computer or local network
- Click Upload to implement this action.
Note: If you want to import more languages, go to TomatoCart Online Translator to export them to your computer and then repeat the above steps.
After uploading a language, you can install it into the project by clicking the “Add” in the toolbar.
Figure 3 shows the

- Select Language
If any new language packs are added, this field will need to get text for that new language. - Select Type of Import
There are three types of import. Select one of them. - Select "Save" to implement the action.
Note: The installed languages can be seen in the admin>Languages as Figure 4 shows.Select a language you are familiar with and it will be applied in the installation environment, administration panel and the store front.

Figure 5 shows the
English setting listing page under the admin>Definitions>Languages>English edit section.

- Name, Code & Locale
For a specific language, it has the name and set code. Code could be seen as in Figure 1.
Locale has unified expression. The locale format is code.UTF-8,code,name.
Beside the English language expression in Figure 5, for the Deutsch language, for example, its Name should be "Deutsch", Code "de_DE", and Locale "de_DE.UTF-8,de_DE,Deutsch". - Character Set should be "utf-8" as the default setting.
- Select to display texts in either "from left to right" or "from right to left" direction.
- Define Short Date Format, Long Date Format and Time Format
The date and time formats actually state the order of time unit.
Specifically, Short Date Format in Figure 5 means the short date order should be Month as number first (such as, 01-12), Day of the month second ( such as, 01-31) and Year with century last (such as, 2009).
Long Date Format exemplifies the long time order of Full Weekday Name first, Day second, Full Month Name third and Year with century last.
Time Format exemplifies the time order of 24-hour clock first, Minute second and Second last. - Select Default Currency which should be one in the "Currency" module, updateable.
- Define Currency Decimal Separator and Currency Thousands Separator
- Parent Language
Parent language refers to the generalized language, regardless of country difference. Take the parent language English as an example, it may include American English, British English, etc. - Input the sort order which describes in what order the language will be displayed in the administration tool as well as in the store front.
- If the selected currency isn't set as the default, the box "Set as Default"will appear.
- Select "Save" to implement the action.
- Total definitions in Figure 1 refers to defined languages items in the database.
To select store front groups to export from the selected language, click the "export graphic tool" next to the "edit graphic tool". Figure 6 shows the English listing page under the admin>Definitions>Languages>Exporting section.

In this module, users are able to modify the language of a certain key appeared in the online store.

Click a certain folder in the left directory list box to view all the concrete information it contains in the right list.
Click the edit graphic tool to modify the value of a specific key .
