Introduction

Geolocation works by automatically looking up an IP address on a WHOIS service and retrieving the registrant's physical address.

Geo IP Modules

Figure 1 shows the Geo IP Modules listing page under the admin>Modules>Geo IP Modules section. If other Geo IP modules are placed in the code, they will need to be installed in the same manner as the ones listed below before use.

GeoLite Country in the list determines the Internet visitor’s country based on the IP address, which is created by MaxMind. It also offers a geolocation database on a city level.

You may:

• Install/Uninstall modules
• Hide/Display some column
• Update data in the present page by clicking "Refresh" in the tool bar.
